uTrack was developed by a group of CST students who aimed to solve the
prevalent issue of searching for vital supplies during the CoViD-19 pandemic. This is a problem we feel
is of great importance as it has an immediate effect on many individuals and families. Everyone deserves
to have access to everyday utilities, especially in a time where people believe they need to accrue
emergency reserves to sustain themselves during self-quarantine. Due to the pandemic, we have learned to
work remotely and have learned so much about back-end and front-end webapp development. When we are not
dying from debugging, you can usually find us playing games or hanging out in discord.
Information regarding supply stocks is provided by the users who go out of their
way to report the current status of items they find while shopping.
The more they post and contribute to their local community, the more points they
will accumulate, which can be redeemed for in-app cosmetics.
Associated items on demand pertain to hygienic, clinical, and dietary needs such
as toilet paper, diapers, and hand sanitizers.
